4 Things to do at National Harbor this Weekend – From Easter to NCAA Basketball

PeepsSpring is here, and with it come a number of fun events at Washington, DC’s National Harbor. Whether you’re looking for kid-friendly activities or a night out with friends, there’s something special going on this weekend at National Harbor.

Celebrate Easter and cheer on your favorite sports team at one of these events this weekend:

1. Bobby McKey’s Armed Forces Appreciation Night

Tonight, visit Bobby McKey’s, the D.C. area’s only Dueling Piano Bar, which will offer free cover (standing room only) to all armed forces. Service members with paid seats will receive a $5 coupon.

Reservations are highly recommended at www.bobbymckeys.com or call 301.602.2209 with any questions.

2. NCAA Basketball at Harrington’s and Public House

From March 17th to April 6th, enjoy $25 “East and West Brew Buckets,” featuring regional craft beer selections, at Harrington’s Pub & Kitchen. This special deal is available at the bar and bar area only.

On April 3rd, from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm, wear your favorite team’s jersey to Public House and receive $3 Coors Light and Public House drafts during every NCAA game. Enjoy half-priced specialty cocktails and house mixed drinks, too.

3. Peeps Contest Winners on Display

Each year, Peeps enthusiasts put on their creative hats to make adorable – and often witty – dioramas featuring the popular Eastertime marshmallows. The Washington Post is just one organization that holds an annual Peeps contest, but we think it’s the best. This year’s winners will be on display at 131 American Way at National Harbor from April 4 – 30, so venture out to see this different, playful form of art.

4. Easter Brunches at National Harbor

Easter Sunday is the perfect time to try one of National Harbor’s fabulous restaurants because several of them are offering a special Easter brunch this weekend. Participating restaurants include: Harrington’s Pub & Kitchen, McLoone’s Pier House, Public House, Redstone American Grill, Rosa Mexicano, and Sauciety at The Westin.
