Cozy Up With Harbor Holiday Movies at the Plaza Every Saturday

When the weather gets cold and the leaves have fallen off all of the trees, it can seem hard to come up with creative ways to get kids outside. If you live near National Harbor, however, you’re in luck. On Saturdays in November and December, National Harbor hosts Harbor Holiday Movies. Located just a few minutes from The Espalande apartments, the movie series is a family-friendly way to do something festive outdoors.

With spectacular views of the Potomac River in the background, the screenings are a wonderful way to experience the harbor up close and personal. The movies start at 2 p.m. every Saturday and are completely free for anyone who wants to attend. This year’s line up includes Prancer, The Santa Clause, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Elf, Jack Frost and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The movies will play despite the weather, so come prepared to stay warm and dry if the skies look gloomy!
