Fall Festivals and Halloween Haunts in Maryland



Fall is an exciting time, no matter where you live or how old you are. But the fall season in Maryland is especially exciting — for people of all ages – since we have so many festivals, haunts and events to get us in the harvest and Halloween spirit!

From a family-friendly hayride to an adults-only super-scary haunted house, Maryland offers something for everyone this fall. Here is an extensive guide, from Chesapeake Family Magazine, to everything harvest- and Halloween-related so you won’t miss a thing:

Greenstreet Gardens Fall Festival & Corn Maze
Sept. 19-Nov. 1., Saturdays & Sundays. Hayrides, corn maze, jumping pillow, underground slide, corn boxes, shortie maze, cow train and more. 10:30am-last tickets sold at 4pm. $12.50 admission for all activities. Kids 30-inches and shorter are free. Lothian.

Horsmon Farm
Sept. 19-Oct. 31, weekends and school holidays. Hay rides, petting zoo, corn box, straw maze, sorghum maze and special events each weekend including scarecrow making, kayaking for kids, tractor weekend and more. Sat. and Sun., 11am-5pm. Homestead Gardens Fall Fest

Butler’s Pumpkin Festival

Hammond-Harwood House St. Anne’s Cemetery Tour
Oct. 3. Hour-long tour through St. Anne’s Cemetery. Learn about the lives of Hammond-Harwood House former occupants. Enjoy a free appetizer from Crush Kitchen and Winehouse before or after the tour. $10-15. 4pm. St. Anne’s Cemetery, Annapolis.

Frederick County Farm Museum Fall Festival

Great Pumpkin Adventure
