Jump In! Open Water Sunrise Swims With WaveOne Swimming
If you love swimming and want to learn how to do it even better, check out open water sunrise swims WaveOne Swimming. These weekly swim groups meet at the National Harbor and span a 300 to 400 metered marked course. Swims are held at sunrise and at sunset all summer long.
Open water swims are great practice for a triathalon or other type of race. These are not swimming classes, however, and only experienced swimmers should attend. Start times change throughout the season depending on the sunrise and sunset, and you should arrive early to get your number. Look for the group on the commercial pier in front of the Pier House Restaurant.
